I love that moment. When you’re on a long car ride, or listening to music, or reading. And you completely zone out. You forget your troubles, and everyone around you. You’re focused on that one thing, and that one thing only. You’re content, and everything seems peaceful.” —
that moment when everything seems peaceful

How do you say goodbye to your companion for 10 years? After all those years, his presence was obviously more than just a pet. Andrew, my dog for 10 years passed away today. He was not allowed to sleep inside the house, but every morning when I was getting ready to have my breakfast before work, I would see him slouching under the stairs in my living room, so cute and adorable that I took a pic of him like that one day. He was such a great dog and mostly well-behaved, for the exception in the first year when he used to jump off strangers, being a child that he was. Had such a deep bark that would fool people into thinking that he is a bad dog indeed. I keep remembering that certain sad basset look, that cute wrinkly face, the way his long ears fell into the dog bowl when he ate, and when he covered his eyes with one of his ear.
So long Andrew, thank you for the company.
